Probably the best experience I've had at a resort. Chad, Melissa and the kids are always ready to help out with any issue and are great to get along with. I consider Chad a good friend and we look forward to coming up every year for fishing, card playing and hangin' out at the lodge. Never a dull moment!
A lovely little resort on Lake Winnie with gorgeous views. Very welcoming staff. Ice cream is homemade and delicious. You will not leave hungry!
Great laid back resort with all the amenities, great docking system, full bar, great food, clothing, ice cream, cabins are not new but super clean and have everything to cook, chop prepare any food, and gorgeous views!!! All have air, tv, picnic tables, weber grills. The lodge is well equipped with a nice menu selection. We've rented cabins with friends at The Pines Resort for the last couple of years. It's the perfect place to get away. The cabins are rustic, clean, and have all the basics you need. Easy lake access and great fishing, even off the dock. Don't miss the chicken wings and ice cream at the Lodge!
Had a wonderful stay at The Pines Resort. Cabins were impeccably clean. Food was delicious and very affordable. The lake was beautiful and easily accessible for boating, kayaking, paddle boating and swimming. The cherry on top was the amazing owners. They were knowledgeable and friendly. Ready to book our stay for next year!
We come to this area every year from Canada. Best wings around and fantastic food! Chad is always welcoming and friendly. Great place for a cold beer. Very reasonable prices!
This was our third time visiting The Pines Resort in Deer River for our annual Ice Fishing trip. We've had an amazing time each visit. The fish houses are great. The resort hands had our fish houses ready and warm each morning for us. Our normal cabin (Black Bear) was very recently remodeled and a HUGE surprise once we got in it. It has an amazing view of the bay and dam.
